Department Description:
Regulates and approves the disposal of all waste-water, both business and residential, in the unincorporated areas of the county.
Regulates and oversees the disposal of solid wastes in the county.
Works with the Zoning Office toward the development of the sanitation aspects of housing subdivisions. Conducts environmental assessments.
Inspects and samples private water wells in county.
Handles general complaints relating to the environment.
