Decision Points is built on the principle of the “Strategy of Choices” and equips participants with alternative ways to examine their thinking and related actions that lead them into trouble. The program goal of DP is for clients to learn to stay out of trouble and feel good about it. It teaches a set of skills that clients can use to change the ways they act in different situations in their lives. Decision Points helps to develop four critical thinking steps to stop the “Trouble Cycle”. Each Step touches on a fundamental aspect of clients’ thinking.
