CPR, ACLS, and AHA Classes
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
CPR and First Aid classes are scheduled through Crawford County EMS. You can find these dates listed by check the training calendar. Classes may be rescheduled or cancelled at anytime. Please check the calendar before driving. All participants must register by clicking here. All fee's must be paid at the billing office prior to attending
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Where: Crawford County EMS Station 2 (Next to the Harley/Davidson School)
When: June 17th and 18th, 2010
Time: 0830 each day
Tuition: $75 per person (Non-employee) Books: $40 per person EXTRA (2006 Revision) If you have a book that is 2006 edition or later bring it with you.
What this class will do:

Give you hands on experience with scenario’s and equipment to simulate real world experiences.

Give you a basic working knowledge of handling the first 10 minutes of a Cardiac Arrest event.

Familiarize you with the Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Re-New your Healthcare Provider CPR card.
This class will not:
-
Teach you to start IV’s
-
Read basic EKG’s
-
Figure dosages of medications.
The pre-test must be taken and brought with you to class along with a textbook for ACLS.

Pre-registration at the EMS office is REQUIRED before admittance to class. Forms can be submitted here. Registration must be received and paid 5 days before for admission. You must have a current BLS healthcare provider card to attend.
This will meet NREMT Mandatory Core content to satisfy the requirements of re-certification.

AHA BLS Healthcare Provider CPR
$20.00 includes book and certification card
This is CPR for the nurse, doctor, EMS professional or other persons in the healthcare setting.
AHA First Aid/CPR
$20.00 includes book and certification card
This is the basic course for everyone. Pediatric AHA CPR/First aid is available.
